Application & Residence

Admission & Student Residence

The essentials before and during your application in Northern Cyprus, drawn from the admission procedures guide. The services below are free of charge; the office takes no registration fee and payment goes directly to the university.

Admission Steps

  1. Initial acceptance: send your documents; the office issues a free initial acceptance to secure your seat.
  2. Payment: paid to the university per semester (not yearly) — half in the first semester, the rest in the second, with installment options.
  3. Final acceptance & travel: once the university receives payment, final acceptance is issued and travel procedures begin.

The academic year starts in September; initial acceptance is currently open.

Required Documents

  • Bachelor's: passport + high-school certificate certified by the Ministry of Education.
  • Master's: passport + translated transcript + certified, translated Bachelor's certificate.
  • Transfer: passport + translated course description + certified, translated high-school certificate.

On transfer between universities, credited years are decided by the receiving university.

Student Residence

  • On arrival you get a 3-month grace period to complete the student residence procedure.
  • Cost: $250, paid to the university and renewed annually for the whole study period.

The partial scholarship is a tuition discount, not a full scholarship; study, housing and personal costs are not covered. Part-time work is legal during study, but job placement is outside our scope.
